POSTING FROM THE PALACE

You choose which is the best Minoan to post and where to place it by:-

how powerful a Minoan you want to post,

what is the best strategic placement for it,

how far it will be able to move once in the Labyrinth

and how much at risk of capture it will be.

You are not allowed to form a Triax of your own Minoans when posting

and you must engage an opponent Minoan if you are not already engaged.

RETREATING TO THE PALACE

Moving a Minoan in the Labyrinth to form a Triax enables you to return Minoans to your Palace for the strategic power of post.

EMPTY PALACE

a). Switch is not permitted if your Palace is empty.

b). Your Wanax is vulnerable for capture with an empty Palace because he is no longer able to double out of trouble.

c). You can try to escape a captured Minoan if your Palace is empty.

(If successful an Iraya, Telestas or Heqetas returns from Melos to your Palace.)
